Bridge To Heaven

It takes close to 15 years to build a living root bridge. The one I spotted was dazzling! Living root bridges are a common sight in the North eastern state of Meghalaya. These handmade beauties are weaved out of aerial roots of rubber trees. People of the mountainous terrain, especially Khasi and Jaintia, are the ones who excel in this art. If heaven had bridges, they would look exactly like this.
